I recently started getting back into a classic drink and find it super refreshing as a summer patio beverage. So, who is Tom Collins anyways?
The name Tom Collins was derived from two things: the type of gin that was originally used, Old Tom Gin, and the type of glass this drink is typically served in, a Collins glass. I definitely need to invest in some Collins glasses!
This cocktail is great for gin lovers and non-gin lovers, too! Unlike a classic gin and tonic, the ingredients in this drink tame the taste of the gin making it much easier to drink and more enjoyable for people who aren’t always a fan.
